We've separated out products that are desiged specifically to use as stuffing for pocket nappies. A variety of fabrics and styles are available but don't forget you can use pretty much anything absorbant, it's just a matter of trial and error!
cotton babies - bumGenius one size insert
A 3 layer microfibre insert designed for use in the bumGenius nappy. It has handy poppers positioned to allow you to shorten the insert for use with the nappy on its smaller settings.

cotton babies - little weeds & big weeds
A really simple, yet effective stuffing for pocket nappies. These are double layer 'squares' that are seamed to fold easily in to a pad for stuffing.
Made from 55% hemp 45% organic cotton.
'Little Weeds' fold into two and are suitable for use in small pocket nappies (and bumGenius on the newborn setting). 'Big Weeds' are suitable for use in any medium or large pocket nappy.
Approx sizes; Little Weed = 13 x 13 inches
Big Weed = 14.5 x 20 inches
These are 'unwashed' dimensions and this product will shrink variably depending on temperature of wash and drying method...

hip hip baby - wonderoo microfibre insert
The same design as the Wonderfull this is effectively two inserts - one large and one smaller - that popper together to offer total versatility.
Use the small insert on its own for a newborn, the large for an older baby or the two combined for a heavy wetter or toddler.
Made from 5 layers (with both inserts combined) of soft, quick-drying micro-terry.

nature babies - stuffa
A very versatile pocket nappy insert consisting of 3 'panels'. The central one is microfibre and each end is absorbent bamboo. Can be folded a multitude of ways to make an insert that's just perfect for your needs.
Available as a 'slimma' stuffa - just a single layer of fabric throughout, or as a 'supa' stuffa - double layer throughout and our current 'killer' insert!

swaddlebees - hemp insert
Designed specifically for use in Swaddlebees pocket nappies these are made from 5 layers of hemp French terry.
Available in 3 sizes to fit perfectly in the nappies.
Becuase these are cut narrow to fit the narrow nappy pocket of a Swaddlebees they are not really suitable for stuffing other pocket nappies that are wider between the legs.

nappies by minki - super soaker
3 layers of microfibre sandwiched between 2 layers of cotton. Now a straightforward rectangle to fit a Minki pocket nappy and available in 3 sizes...
These are cut to fit perfectly in a standard Minki rather than a Slinki Minki so if you are purchasing for a Large sized Slinki Minki nappy you can use a medium insert to minimise bulk or a large insert to maximise absorbency...

A hemp pocket nappy insert, suitable for all the pocket nappies we sell.
It folds in half to make 4 layers of slim hemp fleece. Hemp has a very good absorbency/bulk ratio and can be folded different ways to increase absorbency at the front of the nappy etc making it a very versatile booster.
Hemp is more eco-friendly than cotton as it's a hardier plant that needs less spraying!
Available in two sizes, s/m for use in newborn and small nappies and l/xl for use in large and extra large nappies.

nappies by minki - yoyo booster
Designed especially to fit in the pocket of a Large 'yoyo' training pant.
This booster is made from a layer of flannel and a layer of terry with 3 layers of microfibre cloth inside making a slimm but absorbent booster.
The top flannel layer will stay wet so can be used as an aid to toilet training, by placing the insert next to the skin (rather than in the pocket) with the flannel side up the child will feel the wet which can encourage recognition of wetting.
If you are purchasing the XL Yoyo (3+) we recommend stuffing with a terry sqaure or prefold rather than the Yoyo booster.
