Some local councils run 'incentive' schemes to encourage people to use cloth nappies. You might get a reduction in the cost of a laundry service, a pack of trial nappies or money back once you've purchased nappies. Not all the councils linked to below run such schemes but where a council site includes information about the local policy on cloth nappies as a part of their waste reduction strategy, we've linked to it. If your local council doesn't appear below we couldn't find a mention of real nappies on their site - why don't you ring them and ask why!
We try to keep these links up to date but obviously new schemes are being introduced and existing models reformed all the time - and just because your council web site doesn't mention nappies doesn't necessarily mean there isn't already a scheme in place, it's always worth giving them a call to make sure.
Some of these are county councils, some are district councils and some city councils or boroughs but we've arranged them in alphabetical order so look at all the relevant points to see what's on offer in your local area.
