Shaped nappies are essentially the inside bit of a two-part nappy system. They are made of terry, fleece or a combination of the two and fasten with velcro/aplix or poppers. They require a separate waterproof wrap to keep the wet in.
These are all 'sized' nappies which means you'll need to buy 2 or possibly 3 sizes to get frm newborn to potty trained. Although this is a more costly option than using 'birth to potty' nappies the advatages include better fitting nappies and less bulk on newborn babies.

This is a super cute nappy - perfect fit from newborn to potty training with 3 sizes, very flexible absorbency and good value for money!
Made from 4 layers of white terry and lined with soft polyester fleece, it is slim-line yet absorbent and the fleece inner draws wet away from the skin helping to keep delicate skin dry.
The 'Quick Dry' has a flap-out booster so it drys very quickly for a cotton terry nappy. You can also add an additional booster to the pocket if needed.
Fasten with a nappi nippa to get a perfect, no-hassle fit every time.
The 'bimble' can also be used as additional stuffing for the 'bumble' - just make sure that you place it in the bumble with the fleece lining facing away from the fleece inner in the bumble, so that you don't have two layers of fleece together and start repelling wee rather than absorbing it!
All 3 sizes can be used from birth, the size 1 and size 2 will fit from birth with the front folded down before nippa'ing but obviously the larger sizes will be relatively more bulky than using all 3 (or at least 2) sizes from birth to potty.

The bumble is a great quick drying nappy that can be used 'birth to potty' if desired. Fasten it with a nappi nippa for great adjustment and a perfect fit every time...
It's similar to a 'pocket style' nappy in that it has a terry outer and a fleece inner with a snap-in booster that tucks inside the pocket. This allows for incredibly quick drying for a shaped nappy while not compromising on fit or absorbency.
The full fleece inner wicks wet into the nappy away from baby's skin making this a good night time option.
Of course, you can also add additional boosters for increased absorbency, including the bimble nappy that fits perfectly inside a bumble!
To use as a newborn nappy remove the booster and fold the poppered edge down into the nappy where you'll find two poppers to fasten them to. With the nappy folded in on itself (are you still with us??) you can nippa the new shorter style nappy snuggly for a newborn. This does of course make for a much bulkier newborn nappy than a bimble or other nappy sized specifically for a small baby...

Versatile, quick drying and good value for a toddler nappy. It's easily boosted for nights and longer spells on a heavy wetter but will dry overnight without a tumble drier so you won't need many of these if your toddler is on the verge of potty training!
