Pocket style nappies are a kind of halfway house between all-in-ones and shaped nappies. A waterproof, lined wrap style nappy that has an integral pocket which is then stuffed with absorbent material to the level required.
Great for those that don't have a tumble drier as the stuffing is removed for washing so you effectively have a flat nappy and a wrap to dry separately.
Stuffing
You can use anything absorbent to stuff a pocket nappy, it's about getting the balance between absorbency and bulk right for your circumstances. Here are some options:
Terry square - pad folded (very absorbent but bulky)
Prefold (absorbent, fairly bulky)
Shaped terry pocket nappy insert (medium absorbency, medium bulk)
Hemp pocket nappy insert (absorbent, slim)
Microfibre cloths (medium absorbency, very slim)
Many people find that a combination of these things work well in different circumstances, for example, terry squares with a microfibre cloth for night time and hemp for day time...

The eco-nappi has all the great features and convenience of many pocket nappies with one subtle - but important - difference. Rather than a synthetic fleece inner pocket it has a soft organic cotton velour inner so it is perfect for babies that don't like synthetic fibres next to their skin.
It's a birth to potty nappy, with nice proportions so it's not too bulky on a young baby and is likely to fit most average sized toddlers.
The insert included is similar to the ever-popular Blueberry One Size insert but is made from two layers of hemp which double up with two layers of the Organic Cotton Velour (rather than microfibre).
