Following on from the huge success of the bamboo Pop-in nappy, the version 3 Dream Dri has microfibre boosters making it very quick to dry - for comparison I found it dried faster than a prefold and at least as fast as a cotton terry square.
Other than that, the nappy is basically the same and offers the same versatility and reliability as the bamboo version. We do find it less absorbent - as with all microfibre nappies the absorbency is rather 'sponge-like' so can be slightly more prone to leaks once the nappy is very wet. On the whole though, if the bamboo wasn't for you due to the drying time then this solves the problem!
Reduced to clear - new generation Pop-In nappies have now replaced this version.
