We've used the umbrella term 'flat nappies' to include terry squares, prefolds, contours and tie-on nappies.
Although terry squares get a bad press and are seen as being old-fashioned - a remnant of the 'bad old days' of cloth nappies they are incredibly versatile and we've sourced some lovely unbleached cotton terries that have a multitude of uses...
Prefolds are ideal to use with a close fitting wrap and can be used pad folded in a close fitting wrap, or alternatively as a folded pad with a pocket style nappy.
Contours are really just shaped prefolds, a little easier to use, maybe a bit less versatile.
