We endeavour to dispatch as soon as possible after receipt of order. This usually means same/next working day depending on the time you place your order. As we hold stock of all the items we sell this is usually possible but occasionally you may order more than we have available or we may be temporarily out of stock because we are waiting for a delivery from a supplier, if an item you have ordered is temporarily out of stock we will contact you by email to advise an estimated delivery date, to advise you that we have made a partial dispatch or to suggest an alternative product.
All UK orders received by 16th December will be despatched in time for Christmas delivery (subject to stock). Orders received after that date will be processed as quickly as possible but may not arrive before Christmas.
We use either standard Royal Mail postal services to deliver your goods (most often first class post), or a courier service. Which service is used is dependent on both the weight and the value of your parcel - see below. Most services will arrive within 3 days but you should allow 5 days for delivery. If your nappy needs are particularly urgent please feel free to contact us by telephone or email to discuss availability and delivery options and we will do our best to get your order to you quickly.
Delivery is £2.45 on all UK orders. This may on occasion exclude some UK islands including (but not restricted to) the Outer Hebrides, Isle of Man, Channel Islands & Isles of Scilly for heavy parcels where standard Royal Mail services and courier options may be restricted. If your order is affected we will contact you with details of delivery costs at which point you may cancel your order without obligation should postage costs prove unacceptable.
Please note - If your order is small, light and relatively inexpensive it is most likely to be dispatched via Royal Mail First Class post. If your order is more than £70, or less than this but likely to be heavy (lots of liners, terry squares or prefolds etc.) then it will be dispatched via an overnight courier service. You will need to be available to sign for the parcel when it is delivered so if it makes more sense please do give us a work address rather than a home address where there is rarely anyone home! If our courier is unable to deliver after two attempts the parcel will be returned to us at considerable expense and as a result we reserve the right to make a further charge to redeliver the goods (£6.00) or to charge a re-stocking fee (£10.00) should you decide to cancel the order.
Delivery charges to destinations outside the UK
We currently dispatch to overseas destinations in Europe only.
Our P&P charges to European destinations are currently a flat rate of £8.95.
We reserve the right to contact you if your order is exceptionally heavy (for example, multiple packs of prefolds or terry squares) and add a surcharge. If this happens and you are not happy with the revised charges you may of course cancel your order with no obligation.
If you are ordering from outside the EU please bear in mind that your order may incur duty/import tax and other handling charges on entry to your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer/importer. We are not able to provide estimates of these costs as they are determined by the Revenue & Customs department of the country into which the goods are being imported. If you are unsure about charges your order may incur please contact your local customs office.
Please note, under the terms of the manufacturers UK retailer agreements we are unable to dispatch Mother-ease or Tots Bots products outside of the UK.
Due to their weight, we also do not currently dispatch disposable 'Ultra biodegradable' paper liners outside of the UK. |
