The ultimate in wrap luxury... wool is soft, absorbent and has its own built in water resistance (which is why sheep don't mind standing out in the rain!) Wool wraps are expensive but it's a price a lot of people consider worth paying. As night wraps, you can't beat a wool wrap for comfort and protection from wet clothes and bedding. They need a bit of extra care to retain their waterproof qualities but as compensation a good airing will suffice instead of washing most of the time (unless soiled by 'solids' of course!)
I think they speak for themselves really! All the usual style and quality associated with Woollywraps products in this new design. 'Shorties' are easy to use and a great wool cover for the summer with excellent breathability, comfort and performance.
Designed to be used exactly as other wool wraps/pants, these need to be treated with lanolin regularly and washed gently in cool water.
Used as a substitute for trousers/shorts in the summer months these are perfect for parents who want to use wool full time but desire something stylish and functional that replaces the need for clothes and thus eliminates the risk of wicking.
Available in two fabulous colourways, 'Chilli Pepper' and 'Parma Violet'

woollywraps - longies
If you are a fan of wool but struggle with the idea of using it full time, or if you are just looking for comfort, ease of use and a beautiful product then 'longies' as they're known are a superb solution.
These are used and treated in exactly the same way as any other wool wrap but double up as very cosy, cute trousers so there are none of the problems associated with clothes over wool wraps and no chilly knees!
We use them as a great alternative to PJ trousers in winter and just as a replacement for trousers on our sensitive baby when he reacts to elastic/PUL.
Gently elasticated around the waist and finshed at the hem without ribbing etc. to gently curl for a casual look.
Available in two great colourways. Turquoise/arran or Olive/arran.
Whether you are new to the beauty of wool or already hooked you can't fail to be seduced by these beautiful wraps.
Handmade in Brittany (formerly Wales but Woollywraps have relocated!) from pure merino blend wool these are truly gorgeous and work really well too!
We've been hooked for a while now and we are very excited to be able to offer these as part of our wool range - available in a lovely aqua & bottle green combination or perfect raspberry ripple...
Like all wool wraps these are totally breathable (being a compeletely natural fibre) so allow moisture to gradually evaporate thus keeping the skin drier and the general environment inside the nappy much healthier.
Although we recommend wool primarily for night time due to the risk of 'compression wicking' (sitting in a car seat or pushchair in a wool wrap for any length of time can squeeze moisture through to the outside world!) these wraps deserve to be shown off on a warm day when trousers aren't required and a PUL wrap might be a bit sweaty...
Regular treatment with lanolin is required - it's what keeps them water resistant - but other than that you can simply air during the day and use again and again. If your wrap still smells of urine after a day airing or it starts to leak then it's time to wash and lanolise it. Other than that, wool has natural antibactierial properties that keep it healthy and fresh smelling after several uses! So, even though wool might seem like a hassle to look after it's actually even easier than other fabrics becuase it hardly ever needs washing!
Although these are pull-on pants - so aren't adjustable - as long as there's no nappy poking out they can be worn quite loose. This is preferable to a tight wrap which might squeeze wet out of the nappy so if in doubt order on the large side rather than small...
All woollywraps are supplied with full care instructions from the maker.
